In this article we will review Missed Orders.
Missed Orders
There should be zero missed orders for residents. At the end of each med pass and shift, users will need to verify there are no Missed Orders. Missed Orders, as shown in Fig. 1, can be seen on the Missed Orders Filter at the top of the Medpass Screen.

Step 1: From the Main Residents screen, select Missed Orders from the filter to display residents with missed orders.
Step 2: Select a resident with Missed Orders.
Step 3: Missed orders will appear in reverse chronological order (recent missed orders will be the first in the display). Note: the date and time the order was due is displayed on the order tile.
Step 4: Select the order(s) to be charted, select Administer if the order(s) were given or Did Not Administer if they were not given.
Step 5: An Order Action window will display and prompt users to enter the Out-of-Cycle Reason (the reason the orders are being charted late); enter the reason and select Administer/Did Not Administer as shown in Fig. 6.
Step 6: When finished charting missed orders, select Residents to return to the Main Residents screen.
