In this QRG article, we will review order approval, what it is and how orders are imported


Order Approval

Orders automatically flow into Aline eMAR (ACCUflo) once the communities primary pharmacy enters the order into their Pharmacy Management System. Most pharmacies will only enter medicine and treatment orders.


Note: Orders flowing into ALINE eMAR (ACCUflo) will retain the status of Pending. Orders must be manually reviewed for accuracy and approved by the community. At that point they will be displayed for administration.

What is Order Approval

Order Approval is the process whereby Pending Orders received from the primary pharmacy are reviewed for accuracy and approved for administration by community care leadership.


Some, but not all, components of an order may be edited by the community during order approval if they are incorrect. Community users do not have the ability to edit an order’s medication name and strength, nor can they edit an order’s instructions.
