In this article we will review the Acuity Report, which is a report that summarizes selected orders as an indicator of acuity for residents for a calendar month.


Description 

The Acuity Report provides a summary of selected orders as an indicator of the acuity of residents for a calendar month. The report includes date of admission, number of medications, number of doses, if the resident is diabetic, if they receive insulin, if they receive Coumadin, if they have daily or weekly vital checks, if they have Oxygen therapy, if they have IM injections, if they have TED hose, if they have nebulizer therapy, if they have nutritional supplements, if they have a thicken liquids diet, the number of medications refused over the last 30 days, and last recorded B/P reading.
