In this article we will review the LOA Medications Report(LOA Medications Dosage Chart), which lists the medications to be administered while out of the facility and a section to chart those administration.


Note: This can be printed for the resident/family to have while on LOA

Description

The LOA Medications report provides a list of medications that need to be administered while the resident is out of the facility. Included on this report is a section to chart the administrations of these medications. It can be generated for a single resident or multiple residents/groups and will include the medication name, directions for use, a table for charting, and columns to document the quantities of medication taken from and returned to the community. It is signed off on by the nurse and responsible party.
