Overview
In this article we will review the Pain Log Report, which lists information entered in the Date / Time Range specified for a PRN medication administered with a reason of pain or discomfort.
Description
The Pain Log report provides a record of administrations of PRN orders during a specified time period where the give reason was either "Pain" or "Discomfort" with a default time period of the previous 30 days. It can be run for a single resident or multiple residents/groups and will include the Recipient, their location, Date of Birth, Medical Record Number, Reason for Intervention, Location of Pain, New Pain for resident, Description of the Pain, Frequency of the Pain, Intensity of the Pain, Intervention, Order Description, Date of Administration, User giving the Administration, as well as Follow up Intensity, Follow up Date/Time, and Follow up User.
